The first stage of the residential complex was built in 2017. A complex of apartments that became home for active residents of the city is located in a place free of the building, next to the city highway, shopping center, airport and park. A course on the active implementation on ecological solution and technology was taken during the planing and realization . The courts of the residential complex are free of cars, instead, underground parking is situated on the whole area. Entrance to the courtyard is provided exclusively for operational and fire services.

Bike Parking Beursplein
With the rapid rise of the popularity of the car in the 60’s, ‘Beursplein’, designed in 1898 as welcoming entrance to the Beurs van Berlage by architect H.P. Berlage, became a parking spot. Over the last decades the cars disappeared, and bikes took over. Thanks to the realization of an underground bike parking with space for 1700 bikes, the public space ‘Beursplein’ is given back to the City of Amsterdam.

Located in Inca, Islas Baleares, Spain, at a key junction between a historic centre and different urban fabrics, this project by Son Estudi Architects sees the transformation of an existing public space into a revitalized plaza that promises to serve as infrastructure for future lives.

Marked by existing pedestrian and vehicular traffic flows, the existing site condition includes the presence of two parking floors with one emerging on the surface, causing the plaza to be divided longitudinally by a 4-meter high wall that acts as a barrier between the different levels of the public space and the public’s interaction with the place.
