Renewal of public spaces + civic centre.

This project deals with the Urban Renewal of public spaces in the villages of Moerna and Turano, along with the restoration of a former school into a public center and café in Bollone, and aims to revitalize a series of small villages in Valvestino, a remote valley in northern Italy’s Province of Brescia, which have faced decades of depopulation. LAAB Collective + Signature Design Communication propose a tactile streetscape in Montreal

Based in Montreal, Canada, Agora Maximus celebrates tactile urbanism through a modular streetscape installation designed by the Canadian creative studio LAAB  Collective and a multidisciplinary agency, Signature Design Communication (SDC). AP Arquitetos develop a temporary transit unit of Sesc in Mogi das Cruzes

Developed on a central land in the city of Mogi das Cruzes, AP Arquitetos implemented the temporary unit of Sesc in an area of about 30,000sqm, consecutively providing facilities to the region in a short time until the final opening of the transit unit. Pedro Vannucchi The concept of reuse guided and theorised the architectural and landscaping project where all the existing infrastructure including the buildings, was reused. The design, although temporary, seeks to leave a mark as an intervention in the existing facility. "Dense-city: An Urban Re-typology" presents an urban strategy that repurposes the role of traffic intersections, which are ubiquitous physical infrastructures in every city. On a global scale, the ratio between traffic intersections and the rest of the urban spaces is a stark reminder of how much our cities value the convenience of motor vehicles over the utility of pedestrians. To solve this problem, our urban planners have continued to add multilayers of pedestrian walkways as means to move the mass from one place to another. In the Middle Ages, Rybnik was a fishing settlement located at the intersection of important trade routes from Wrocław and Racibórz through Oświęcim towards Kraków and from the Czech Republic through the Moravian Gate into the interior of the country. After years, the east-west direction, at which the Market Square was established. The section between the market and the fork of ul.
