BARCELONA CONTAINERS HOUSE IS AN EXAMPLE OF SUSTAINABLE AND RECYCLABLE ARCHITECTURE  WITH A DIFFERENT AESTHETIC. A HOUSE OUT OF THE ORDINARY.   In the surroundings of Barcelona we have built a design house with containers, the Barcelona Containers House. A rational architecture design, recyclable and balanced with the environment. A family with new ideas and a desire to change the world proposed us the challenge of building a house with recycling. The clients, a young family, commissioned a comfortable house for four habitants that was functional, safe, luminous and unique in the area; but also demanded a low-cost and low maintenance home. The challenge was to accomplish this in a site with a limited surface (102m2, 6x17m), rugged topography and preexistent urban elements (trees, light posts and a telephone facilities box) that can’t be affected during the construction. The design concept of this room house is to create habitability from a central garden that allows general lighting and ventilation of all common and private areas, as a reinterpretation of what were the courtyards in the haciendas. In this project a space was created inside / outside that would give us the feeling of spaciousness becoming a protagonist from the projection of lights and shadows of the pergolate towards the different continuous spaces, seeking to be an extension of them, giving rhythm to this green heart, being equally part of the interior facade of the house. In a rural lot of 1039.80 m², in the district of Pachacamac in Lima, with a difference between levels of 3.5 ml., We are commissioned to design a detached house.
