Bestandstransformation – Collini Center
A 57 m² apartment in the brutalist Collini Center in Mannheim, virtually unchanged since the 1970s, was carefully modernised. The result combines contemporary living comfort with the architectural heritage of the iconic concrete building on the Neckar river.

Franklin Village
This project is part of the redevelopment of Benjamin Franklin Village in the northeast of Mannheim, a former residential area of the US Armed Forces stationed in Europe, built in the 1950s. Surrounded by an extensive park, a district for around 10,000 people is being developed through conversion and densification, accommodating a variety of uses ranging from work, care and training to cultural, leisure and local recreational facilities.

Housing in Wetzikon
The cooperative settlement "Rimini" is based on the permeable and open building structure of the residential area. With three four-storey apartment buildings, the scale of the neighbouring surroundings is taken up. The buildings are set at an appropriate distance from each other, so that attractive views are created. This is additionally supported by the slightly bent longitudinal facades. The volumes are kept simple and cubic. The architectural expression of the new buildings with repeating French windows, room-high shutters and slightly projecting roofs conveys an almost Mediterranean, homely ambience.
