Extension for a bathing hut in Greifenstein on the Danube The allotment garden settlement “Greifenstein” next to a dead arm of the Danube River has a special charm. The first residents in the 1920s to 60s were very creative when building their bathing huts themselves. Since it is a flood area, all houses must be built on pillars. Designed by Ameller Dubois, the new Claudine Hermann Secondary School (Collège Claudine Hermann) stands in the southern Paris suburb of Massy, on the Vilgénis site—formerly home to the Air France Aviation Apprenticeship Training Center. Set within 22 hectares of woodland, the school occupies a green setting that supports environmental integration. Opened for the 2024 academic year, the school stands out for its architectural design and technical rigor. This project is located on the edge of Langfang, Hebei. The south side of the site is a high-rise commercial and residential area developed in recent years, and the north side of the site is a blank area left after the village demolition. Its location next to an active communal farm enables children to interact with livestock and experience seasonal cycles as part of their curriculum.
