Founded in Paris in 1990 by Philippe Ameller and Jacques Dubois, over the years the firm has developed recognised skills in several major fields. It first developed its activity in education, security and health facilities, then in the architecture of collective housing and cultural facilities. Whether it involves new construction, extensions, major restructuring or work on listed sites, the agency's practice is based on a balance between rigour and boldness. Rigour in following through projects that are in keeping up with the times. Boldness in tackling timeless architectural issues. With 150 projects to its name and a wide range of programmes, the agency champions a virtuous multi-disciplinary approach that allows for contributions from one subject to another.
In 2025, after a three-year handover, Cédric Baelde, Florian Dubois, Alexandre Guibourt, Laurence Sou and Stéphane Védrenne will take over from Philippe Ameller and Jacques Dubois at the head of the agency.
