Harel Wooden Office Complex
ALTA Architectes – Urbanistes has completed an ambitious office project on Chemin du Bois Harel, a road that marks the boundary between Rennes, an industrial city in north-western France, and the neighbouring municipality of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande.
The Harel Wooden Office Complex (Bois Harel Tertiary Complex) takes a measured approach to office architecture, shaped by the dynamics of the site and its relationship to the surrounding landscape. The project responds to contemporary expectations of comfort, sustainability, and usability, offering a restrained yet forward-looking vision of urban development that prioritises well-being and respects the natural environment.

Bernardo Bader Architekten has completed a “children’s house in the park” (kinderhaus im park) in the village of Egg, Bregenzerwald, Austria. The single-story wooden building offers children a homey, bright, spacious, and smart interior with a connection to the outdoors and nature.

Innauer Matt Architekten complete lean and economical Strandbad Lochau
A lean and highly economical structure in the Austrian municipality of Lochau at the Lake of Constance, this flat, one-storey building sits between lake and landscape. A wide, protective roof covers various recreational program uses and serves as a mediator between the building’s indoor and outdoor areas.

Černá Voda mountain lodge
Černá Voda, a small mountain lodge, is situated next to the “old” ski run near the Pomezní Boudy border checkpoint in the Krkonoše mountains.The original lower ski-lift station was replaced with a new wooden structure on the confluence of Kolben and Černá Voda streams, the latter of which the chalet is named after. The owner’s wish was to have a small structure to serve as a lodge for short-term guests of the owner of the nearby Tereza mountain chalet.The mountain lodge is a wooden structure of approximately 5.3 x 5.6 m, with an adjacent steel structure terrace of approximately 5.3 x 2.5 m. The premise is located at Karuizawa Minamihara. The client hoped a single-story wooden building as a second house to coexist with the surrounding richly green natural blessings.Equipped with a deep eaves with a depth of 2,000 mm and a deck extending to a deep wooden area, a cozy space has been created in the intermediate area. Hyperion will be the first residential tower made of wood in France, in the city center of Bordeaux, close to the new TGV (high speed train) station. The Saint-Jean Belcier area is part of a wide urban renovation program.
