The intervention focused on a renovation of a 70's house in a suburban area of Verona. The design goal is to redefine the main spaces with a unique element that keep continuity between the entrance and the living space and became at the same time the focus of the living room with a fireplace. The inspirations for Baan Pomphet’s exterior design come from the quality of the site and its surrounding, namely an ancient monument “Pom Phet”. By “quality of the site”, it is meant the best location that overlooks a scenery where the “Pa Sak River” meets the “Chao Phraya River”. Water hyacinth normally float up and down these rivers and cover the entire surface of the water in summer mornings. What is special about this movement is the whirlpool where the two rivers meet. Once again, the “Drie Wijzen uit Oost” and Studio Modijefsky have teamed up to transform this classic Amsterdam venue into Bonnie: a finest, traditional bistro bar with all its quintessential elements: mirrors, classic tiles, old fashioned wood and neon lights. Three wedgesWhat we called “Wedge” is a spacial of triangle form.This is a refurbishment project of a steel-framed three-story building detached into a two-family house. The existing building was constructed as a steel-framed fire-resistant building include the steel staircase as the request of the owner (the father of this owner). But it exceeds the specifications specified in this restricted zone. The steel staircase is located in the center of the building, and the floor height, the direction of the entrance of stairs are different for each floor. An agricultural and livestock building of the early twentieth century located in a town on the Castilian Plateau of Spain has been deprecated. The intervention in the existing building is considered as recycling of it. It is intended to preserve the identity of the productive space and the vernacular character of its construction.   To re-inhabit the main building it is provided with light, water and heat. A 25 years old town house, which went under a dramatic makeover. The house was very old fashioned and its interior design was very “busy” and cluttered. The new house owners wanted a fresh clean design to complement the complete renovation it needed. The first very significant change we agreed on was demolishing the walls surrounding the staircase, allowing the space of the entrance floor to become more continuous. That created a much airy, spacious and bright feeling to the whole public area. Seamlessly interweaving old and new, a comprehensive renovation extols the finest features of this Victorian house – beautifully crafted staircase, arched front windows, and exposed red brick wall; our studio intervenes with a clean and contemporary aesthetic.   The front façade is quintessentially of its time - tall and narrow with a gabled roof, constructed from brick and mortar. Minerva Galleries make up the commercial ground floor of a multi-family building built in the 70s in the expansion district of Tarragona. Like most commercial galleries implanted between mid and late last century, they are covered and opened only to pedestrians. Being, therefore, precursor elements at the birth of the shopping centers, whose arrival has meant that most commercial galleries have closed the doors or have been reconfigured. Our 5,700 sf Ports 1961 store resides on the prestigious Rue St Honore in Paris, France, occupying three-stories next to the Mandarin Hotel. The retail ground floor features delicate Venetian plaster walls with 3D patterns, which transition to the upper VIP floor in a warmer, gold tone. The upper floor also features grey, mat Siberian hardwood, while the ground floor patterns limestone. Sculpted stairs connect the upper and lower levels, and other architectural additions include mirror columns, recessed lighting, and custom fixtures in polished chrome— all of which glow on adjacent clothing and surfaces.
