Chocolat Du Jour

The first store of the Brazilian chocolate brand Chocolat Du Jour in the city of Goiânia introduces a new concept developed for the brand, where the idea is to convey the quality and excellence of its chocolate, which, due to its attributes, achieves the status of Art. Hotel GLAR

Glar, synonymous with Radiance, embodies the essence of Wolin Island's legendary lore, crafted into reality by the skilled hands of NOKE Architects.  Situated at the crossroads of ancient trails linking Poland, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, Wolin Island boasts a heritage as vibrant as its Baltic surroundings. This rich tapestry of history and nature intertwines seamlessly within the Glar Hotel in Wisełka, a testament to NOKE Architects' visionary design. The name Glar pays homage to the sacred horse revered by Wolin Island's ancestral tribes, a nod to the profound connection the hotel owners hold with the region of Western Pomerania. This reverence echoes throughout NOKE Architects' meticulous design process, resulting in a harmoniou... More

Alpendre Installation / erazo pugliese + cesuga

“Alpendre” from galician or portuguese alpendre, and these from the latin appendix, ‘something added, accesory”.  Bruno Giliberto The faculty of architecture of CESUGA completed a wood design and build workshop (during the IV Xornadas Internacionais da Madeira 2024), whose main goal was to promote the use of wood as a building material in the forestry region of Galicia, Spain, through education in design and construction techniques.  Bruno Giliberto The workshop started from the opportunity to intervene in the environment near CESUGA: Feáns, A Coruña, a place in transformation that retains a strong identity and great social interaction, as well as environmental and ethnographic value. ... The Elea Sofa

An alluring illusion. What first meets the eye when taking a glance at the Elea sofa is the gorgeous grain on the solid timber sides combined with the almost monolithic cushioning and upholstery. If you take the time to appreciate it, one will come to the realisation that the sofa appears to be hovering off the ground. Meticulously engineered and carefully machined, the slim but sturdy height-adjustable legs are at just the right height to make the sofa appear floating above the ground which led us to aptly name the sofa 'Elea', which means 'float' in Swahili. The framework is made from solid timber using traditional carpentry techniques to ensure a rigid and durable sofa frame after which the loose cushions are precisely marked and forme... More

Timber framing of 1979

Near Fukuma Beach, known for its beautiful sunsets, a friend who is also the client found a piece of land with an old house built in 1979. The project began with a consultation on whether this old house could be renovated into a combination shop and guesthouse. YASHIRO PHOTO OFFICE YASHIRO PHOTO OFFICE The single-story irimoya-style wooden structure had signs of cheap renovations, such as printed plywood exterior walls and polycarbonate corrugated roofing, but the original structure was evidently well-built. The knotless cypress pillars, the impressive large domestic pine beams, and the long-span log girders were truly remarkable. Although 1979 is not old enough to be considered an old folk house, it represented the last era when... More

Atelier d’artista

The project consists of the creation of a small artist's atelier inside the garden of a country villa. giorgio pasqualini The building, made with a structure in laminated fir wood and covered internally with marine pine plywood panels and externally with fir beads, opens to the north towards a small lake. The alveolar polycarbonate roofing of the veranda softens the light, making it ideal for painting. The internal structure divides the space into a painting area and a relaxation area with kitchen and access to the service. giorgio pasqualini Looking towards the garden, beams, pillars and frames of the building introduce a rhythm that seems to continue in the elements of the vegetation. Medical Center JUVIGNY

The lack of medical services in the countryside in France has been increasing in the last decades leaving its population in medical-less limbo, in cases taking more than an hour journey to reach a doctor in case of necessity. Thus, the mayor decided to build a small medical center in order to propose doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, etc… to come and practice locally. David Foessel David Foessel The site chosen for the project is located in the middle of the town, right in from of the church and market square, just next to a new park. The project had to integrate the access to the park as a condition for its making. David Foessel David Foessel The program for the medical center includes 3 doctor’s cabinet... More
