The project included the revalorization and adaptation of the former hairdresser (and originally waiting rooms for the tram and kiosks with milk and newspapers) in the historic residential building No. 1 (Laubenganghaus No. 1) in the area of the WuWA (Wohnungs- und Werkraum Ausstellung) residential exhibition from 1929. The building is a new part of the existing School Complex No. 5, which includes the 13th General Secondary School and bilingual secondary school in Wrocław (PL).The design of the gym is a combination of two independently functioning objects in one compact body. On the ground floor there is a separate fencing block available directly from the outside. The complex of sports facilities for the School Complex, which consists of a full-size gymnasium, fitness room, dance hall and gym, and necessary sanitary and locker rooms are located above the fencing block. Since the beginning, it has been used for exhibition purposes - in 1913, a historical exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the victory over Napoleon was presented there. In 2006, the pavilion and the Centennial Hall was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. At the end of June 2015 the refurbishment and reconstruction of the pavilion was finished.
