The Ralph S. O'Connor Recreation center of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore Maryland recently underwent a renovation. ALPOLIC Quartz zinc finish canvases over most of the contemporary design of the building, with key accents being shown with the ALPOLIC Anthra black zinc finish. This project spanned three sides of the new renovation, including an angled canopy above the main entryway and a small vestibule area at the entrance. Omer Ozbeck Showcased above the canopy, we see a gradual wave of protruding fin panels surrounding the windows, composed with both gray (Quartz zinc) and black (Anthra zinc) colored finishes. New Delhi Railway Station is a major transportation node with approximate average foot fall of 450,000 people daily. The Airport Express line and the Yellow line of the Delhi Metro also have a subterranean underground station at the Ajmeri Gate side in-between the railway station and the Parking building . On the surface there is the Bhav Bhuti Marg and the drop off Zone of the Railway station. Located on a small harbor in Amsterdam’s IJburg district, Jonas demonstrates a holistic approach to sustainability—merging technical innovation, biodiversity, and social well-being into a unified vision. The near-energy-neutral building incorporates 850 rooftop solar panels and a low-temperature heating and cooling system connected to the district network. It also uses a thermal energy system that draws heat and cooling from the nearby IJ lake. Jonas provides 190 mid-market rental studios, 83 owner-occupied apartments, and shared facilities. Being used to the spatial restrictions typical for a city with high density like Madrid, a 1.800m2 (19.370 sqft) plot almost makes you feel lost when you first enter it. We found it extremely important to create a home that integrates the outdoor space and makes it liveable.
