In recent months, Mr. De La Lama has explored several of the region’s most popular and historic cities, including La Paz, Bolivia, Santiago, Chile, Bogotá, Colombia, and Panama City, Panama. He is particularly interested in the culture and architecture of La Paz, a city built into a mountainous canyon, and the neighboring cities El Alto and Viacha. He prefers to stay in the southern part of La Paz, and while he enjoys exploring the city on foot, he is a fan of the unique La Paz public transportation system, which includes a series of cable cars that provide breathtaking views of this high-altitude city.
