Domenico Antonio Papalia, said Nico, was born the 15 of June 1968 in Vigevano, (PV) Italy.
Student of Architecture he projected furniture and design objects obtaining some first recognitions.
He graduated in Architecture in 1998 at the Politecnico of Milan rewarded with a degree prize, in the same year he projected his first house.
In 1999 he attended a Master in Strategic Design and took part in a project to design prototypes of coloured tyre for PIRELLI TYRE company. In the following years he obtained the charge to design other private houses and he collaborated with other Architects in big projects.
In 2004 he opened his own office in Mornico Losana (PV), on the hills of Oltrepò Pavese, in north-west of Italy, where he actually lives and works. He designs objects, interiors and residential architectures using new building technologies with dry systems and new materials, to get the best levels of energetic saving,
