1:1 landskab is an award-winning, dynamic design studio, led by Jacob Kamp and Trine Trydeman.
1:1 landskab creates classic modern landscape architecture. We believe that every place can be transformed to a poetic functional room which creates memorable experiences and brightens everyday life.
We work with both traditional projects like private gardens and urban spaces, and open landscape projects and larger planning projects, as process-oriented projects. Here at 1:1 landskab, we work through a Nordic tradition of pragmatic and poetic solutions that play on simplicity, contrasts, an appreciation for materials and nature. By “nordic”, we mean solutions which are robust, durable, and accessible to all.
Landscape architecture should be green in more than one aspect. Therefore, 1:1 landskab works strenuously to design our projects to damage the environment as little as possible. We consider maintenance and resource consumption in each design as we work with sustainable surfaces, furniture elements, and lighting. In light of climate-related challenges; we have, as a design studio, a mission to implement on-site storm water infiltration and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems into all of our projects.
The right balance between vision, surroundings and economy can only be achieved through close cooperation and open, personal dialogue. Therefore at 1:1 landskab, there will always be a partner associated with each project, so the personal contact takes place 1:1. This ensures a unique solution which is sure to suit the needs of both the site and the user.
