1925Workbench is a husband and wife team who create furniture, doors, and barn door hardware. While Rock is passionate about wood and how things are put together, My Le is passionate about designs and the arts. Together, they are constantly working to transform spaces with the pieces they make. It started when they bought their house that was built in 1925 to start a family. After fixing it up, My Le wanted a sliding barn door for the powder room because a regular hinged door just could not work in that little space. Being a hands-on person, Rock decided to make the hardware and the door himself. Next came the task of furnishing the house - Rock's obssession with well built & solid wood furniture, combined My Le's desire for a personal touch meant that they would have to make the pieces themselves. As they were doing this, Rock's passion for making things by hand was ignited, and My Le's love for designing the home was given a chance; from there, everything fell into place and they realized this is what they were meant to do.
