The staff of Nowotny Architects consists of architects/designers, project managers, IT- experts, draughtsmen and administrative co-workers. This core group is regularly expanded with extra employees if necessary with extra artists. In principle, all activities that are coherent to a task or project are executed within the office, but if necessary there are some specialized parts that will be worked on by other firms. That is why for every building assignment, a high quality-level can be guaranteed within the set time and the financial limits.
Nowotny has proved that they can apply innovative solutions in a variety of building projects. The architectural quality and the optimalisation of the user- and perception value is an important aspect. Sustainable materials and minimization of energy use are standard components of the plan development. The office is working on the subjects of urban planning, utility buildings, schools, re-use of buildings, colour recommendations, furniture design and interior. In the Netherlands, Nowotny has planned and realized a large number of projects.
