Atelier M+A is an architectural and interior design studio based in Singapore and Tokyo. It is headed by Masaki Harimoto and Ng Ai Hwa since year 2009. The atelier emphasizes professionalism and quality for every project. Atelier M+A constantly explores design possibilities and challenges design constraints. Collectively, the design brief, site and programme are analysed and considered to achieve a greater design authencity for each project.
Since its founding, Atelier M+A has explored numerous projects including residential, retail, office, hotels, civic and cultural projects.
Masaki and Ai Hwa worked under the past renowned architect Dr. Kisho Kurokawa ('Kisho Kurokawa architect & associates') in Tokyo, Japan for international projects of different complexity. With each possessing more than 20 years of experience in the architecture industry, they are adept and confident to undertake local and international projects of diverse scales and natures.
