Balconette is a UK specialist manufacturer, installer and supplier of glass balustrades, railings, Juliet balconies, rooftop decking and privacy screens, based in Surrey.
BalcoDeck® is Balconette's most recent product development, and the first patented (GB2636232) non-penetrative deck and balustrade system available in the UK. It has been developed specifically for flat roofs and terraces where penetrating the waterproof membrane is not possible or desired, addressing what has traditionally been a primary cause of long-term roof leaks and structural risk. BalcoDeck® sits above the existing waterproofing layer, is suitable for roof falls from 1:40 to 1:80, and is used on projects ranging from small private balconies to large commercial terraces.
Balconette is also known for developing the Hybrid® system of glass balustrade construction, featuring a stylish integral handrail with long runs of glass and few, if any, upright support posts, as well as fully frameless balustrade installations using structural glass.
The company has more than 20 years of trading history and a long list of clients across the building, construction and architectural fields, with balconies and balustrading featured in award-winning buildings, the trade press, and on TV home improvement programmes.
Balconette's premises in Surrey, a few miles from Gatwick Airport, house the company's showroom, production and warehousing, design facility and admin offices, from where it supplies the UK, the Channel Islands, Europe and international markets.
