BAND Architektur is a Munich-based architecture practice with a second office in Bernau am Chiemsee, working across Bavaria and beyond — from the city to the lakes of Starnberg, Tegernsee, and Ammersee, and occasionally further afield in Europe. Founded by Philipp Möller and Florian Mayer, the office designs new buildings, renovations, and heritage-listed restorations, alongside interior architecture for private clients.
Our work begins with listening. Before we design, we immerse ourselves in the history of a place — its rhythm, its strengths, its hidden potential — and in the people who will live there. From this understanding, we develop a vision that respects origin and tradition while remaining open to the future: not simply a functioning space, but a place that connects people, enriches everyday life, and endures.
