Bussoga is a project started in 2010 by Josep Motas who had the desire to be a designer and showcase his designs to the world.
Then, when having tried but failed to find a producer interested in editing his designs, he decided to create a design company himself.
Bussoga started as the brainchild of Josep, but has been further developed thanks to the invaluable support of friends and family. In 2012 the artist Irina Grosu joined the project which represented a master stroke that made the company much more dynamic.
Bussoga's workshop is based in Sant Jordi Desvalls, a small village in the Ampurdan, the geographical area compressedby the Pyrenees and Costa Brava.
L'Empordà is well known for its amazing landscape, its coast, the good wine, and the tramuntana, the strong north wind of this zone.
This land inspired the most famous surreal artist Salvador Dalí, who was born and grew up in the main city of the area, Figueres.
Just a few minuts from the our workshop, you can find the Castle of Púbol, which Dalí bought for his wife Gala and converted to a museum.
A few kilometers away, La Bisbal d'Empordà town is well known for its traditional ceramics.
All this inspires us and is a good excuse to visit us!
