Durat is one of the oldest manufacturers of solid surface materials in Europe. Durat has experience of over 17 years in manufacturing and fabricating solid surface material. The privately owned company (originally Tonester Oy ltd) was established in 1990 to develop a new sustainable material, which would combine recycling and design. The manufacturing facilities of Durat are in southwestern Finland nearby Turku, in Rymättylä.
