Founded in 2006 GFP Lab adds almost 40 years of experience in hotel automation sector. This is the amount of years of experience accumulated by the three founders. The intention was and remains of thinking to a company dedicated to the development of hospitality technologies conceived as an easy way to obtain management economies and high comfort standards. We like to think to our company as a LABoratory: of ideas, insights, applications and methodologies. For this purpose we have embraced a concept of a dynamic company, where all the resources and intelligences used are key rings in the design processes and applications. Our employees are not only competent but also people who can interpret technologies in according to their actual use. Automation Automation applied to hospitality industry is always synonymous with managerial efficiency. The hotel industry are increasing the need to govern the cost centers, while increasing the standard of services provided to its customers. The technologies developed in the last 20 years have certainly suggested applications that can achieve these two objectives. Our interpretation is that technological evolution is only the beginning of a process, which very quickly make available all resources and solutions that make significant changes in applications. This will mean able to have options to measure necessity, more profitable and less expensive investments, increasing reliability. From this point of view the history of computer applications can be taken as conclusive reference. So in GFP Lab automation is interpreted as the operational translation of requirements of those who lead accomodation activities, avoiding the temptation to chase good solutions in terms of design but of limited use in management. This generates a research component and application intelligence, whose final result is a cost suitable for small garnì as absolutely the most demanding resort. Saving Energy saving is one of the levers that have the greatest impact on business budget virtuosity. But in addition there is a perceived managerial aspect of "sustainability" across the company that makes essential the use of technology "environmentally friendly". Those who work in the hospitality knows the importance of preserving the quality of natural habitats. It is a duty for everyone to meet a real obligation to... give back our children, the land that they have borrowed us. For us this is a commitment that is reflected towards finding solutions that save resources, because efficiency is good for business and our world. But we also believe that more and more environmental virtuosity, will be a plus appreciated by customers, used to responsible consumption and behaviors. Comfort Speaking of hotel industry is unavoidable to think about the welfare of those who live, for business or pleasure, the spaces of hospitality. The technology is increasingly present in the workplace but also private, undoubtedly creates expectations and in line with expectations of more sophisticated lifestyles. However, the comfort can not be attributed solely to high-tech, it would be simplistic and shortsighted. The speed of innovation is faster than applications development, this would result in an endless race to the new ideas. For us at GFP Lab comfort, is something that does not invade and does not require the customer to compete with "difficult" applications. Comfort is the availability of options that the customer can easily decide to have. The choices will then be in the realm of psycho-physical wellness as well as in facilities that guests can activate to his discretion, to continue lifestyles acquired in his private or work status.
