YESTERDAY AND TODAY
JG GROUP was created in 1969 as a metal working industry. At this moment in the time, JG Group was producing office furniture and filing-storage systems which were different from existing competitors, based on features and quality.
In the 90´s, due to their commitment the JG GROUP achieved the support of national distribution network specialists in office furniture. This was the right moment to start with the international expansion and the challenge for new targets based on modern design and innovation as a key factor of its products. The success of this way of doing business has taken JG to export more than 60% of their production and collaboration with other companies in the sector, in order to offer global solutions to allow us penetrate new markets.
In 2007 JG GROUP launch Y-LIFE and INSPIRA to the market, focused on the most demanding markets, ranges which feature quick assembly systems and ergonomic lines, including packaging and transport environmentally friendly manner.
Thanks to t continuous technology improvements, the position of JG GROUP is now consolidated in the mid and mid to high segment of the market, either for corporate interiors or filing systems.

THE MANAGEMENT OF DESING AND AWARDS
JG GROUP places people at the center of all its creations, developing new concepts for the market needs. Once the concept is clear, the internal and external design team makes the project possible and the JG GROUP´s know-how takes these designs to the market in a very easy way for the end user.
The control of materials and technology (wood, steel, paint, plastic and metal), also the complete management which includes production, handling, logistics and service which all offers an extra added value to the end user.
JG GROUP believes in high design based on simplicity in production and to this end the [JG STUDIO]@. was created to coordinate our internal teams and to coordinate the external design teams and research & development department enabling the company to use the most modern materials and processes.
Over these years, [JG STUDIO]@. has designed and developed several ranges that have now became classics, such us SINTRA, AQUA, ADAPTA and PLUS [PV]+[AMT].
