Hemsworth Architecture

Hemsworth Architecture is a young, award winning, full-service architectural firm based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It is our belief that meaningful architecture is the direct result of a clear understanding of a project’s site, a thoughtful imagining of the programmatic opportunities, and a deep understanding of our client’s aspirations. Be it an ice arena in northern British Columbia, an outdoor school on the Cheakamus River, a Passive House factory in Pemberton, or a private residence in Whistler, our approach is governed by the collaborative discovery of a project’s specific opportunities with each of our clients. It is our ambition that these projects hold a strong relationship to both their site and the communities that they serve and are constructed in a socially and environmentally sustainable manner. Our studio is located at 19 East 5th Ave, Vancouver, BC. V5T 1G7. Entrance off of the lane. Text for entry. Hemsworth Architecture is the recipient of the 2016 Governor General’s Medal in Architecture for the design of the BC Passive House Factory in Pemberton, BC.
