Architecture and interior design for the common good - this is how IFUB*, the Institute for u. Baukunst, describes its own philosophy. Since 2012, the Munich, Berlin and Lake Constance locations have not only been planning and building, but also designing their own offices to be as fair and grandchild-friendly as possible. The projects realized include residential and office projects as well as contemporary cafés and bouldering facilities. In addition to various awards (Bavarian Monument Award, The Golden House), the publication of the first common good balance sheet and the self-developed “Handbook of Building for the Common Good” in 2021 were the biggest milestones. What is the IFUB* convinced of? There will only be a real turnaround in construction with a turnaround in the system!
