Activity ISOMAT was founded in 1980, aiming to meet the increasing needs of modern construction, while producing and promoting products of the latest technology at affordable prices. Nowadays, the company is among the most significant building material manufacturers in Southeastern Europe, thanks to its innovative products, modern organization, dynamic management and highly specialized employees - its most valuable asset. ISOMAT produces more than 300 products, suitable for general and more specific building applications, repairs, improvements, etc., which are divided into the following 6 categories: 1. Waterproofing Materials 2. Concrete & Mortar Admixtures 3. Tile Adhesives & Grouts 4. Repairing Materials 5. Paints & Plasters 6. Floorings Each year, the product range is enriched with 10-15 new products, while the existing products are constantly being improved by the company's Research & Development Department. The company also has a well organized Technical Support Department, staffed with highly qualified and specialized engineers, who provide technical support to both professionals and individuals, through phone, e-mail (at [email protected]), or directly in the field. ISOMAT currently has two ultra-modern production plants, one in Ag. Athanasios, Thessaloniki, and one in Belgrade, Serbia, while in 2015 it started producing paints and polymer plasters in Bucharest, Romania, too. Through a wide web of cooperating stores, ISOMAT serves the building industry in every corner of Greece. In addition, with 6 subsidiaries in Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia and Slovenia, one affiliate in Spain, as well as a dense network of local distributors, ISOMAT's products are exported to more than 45 countries all over the world. More specifically, at present it is exporting to Serbia, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Germany, the UK, Belgium, France, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Malta, Canada, Ukraine, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Moldavia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Latvia, Georgia, Kosovo, FYROM, Albania, Cyprus, Afghanistan, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, the UAE, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Libya, Algeria, Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Thailand, Guatemala, Paraguay. Today, ISOMAT occupies a total of 327 employees in Greece and abroad. The employees in Greece number 233 - among them 32 qualified engineers and chemists - while 94 work at the six subsidiaries abroad, 21 of whom are qualified engineers and chemists. Philosophy ISOMAT is committed to offer products of excellent quality in combination with high added-value services in order to achieve total customer satisfaction. The company possesses ultramodern equipped R&D laboratories for developing innovative products following the latest technological trends in the construction sector. Additionally, it monitors its products' high and stable quality through its Quality Control department, before these are introduced into the market. ISOMAT has established and applies a quality assurance system, regarding the design, development, production and distribution of its products, according to ISO 9001, an environmental management system, according to ISO 14001 and an occupational health and safety management system that complies with the ELOT 1801/OHSAS 18001 standards. Furthermore, ISOMAT's products are affixed with the CE marking, according to the relevant European standards. As it is widely known, the CE marking is required by the European Union for all building materials, according to the Regulation 305/2011, as it ensures that their quality complies with the European specifications. Besides producing and distributing products of excellent quality, ISOMAT also shares its technical know-how and provides integrated solutions to the problems of the modern construction. For this purpose, its Technical Support department, staffed by an excellent trained team of engineers, offers responsible technical support to any interested party, professionals or individuals. Quality Control Before ISOMAT's products reach the market, they are subjected to continuous, detailed and meticulous controls made by the company's Quality Control Department in order to ensure their high and stable quality. When the products reach the market they must be perfect in any aspect. They must perform excellent, provide definitive solution, be easy applicable, cost-efficient and satisfy the aesthetic criteria of the customer. Guaranteeing the aforementioned, the company has established and applies a quality system for the design, development, production and distribution of its products following the requirements of ISO 9001.
