NextBuild is an architecture laboratory based in Milazzo in Sicily, founded in 2009 by Giovanni Fiamingo and today managed in partnership with Giovanna Russo.
The studio's theoretical/design research is oriented towards the themes of architectural, urban and environmental redevelopment, and explores the compositional aspects of the dual relationship between Building and Land Line, between Architecture and Landscape, with forays into the themes of Subtraction, the Negative, of the Complementary.
The projects and works carried out have received numerous awards and have been exhibited in exhibitions, such as the Sofia Triennial "Interarch" 2009 and 2012, the Maggio Architecture Award, the SACU of Camerino, the Simonetta Bastelli Award.

Among the numerous awards achieved, we mention the first prizes in: Futura-Scuole Innovativo Competition (2022) for the Spadafora and Taormina offices, (ex aequo) “Abitare la terra/Dwelling on earth” at the XXI International Forum 'Le Vie dei Mercanti ', “Annosedici May Architecture Award”, Innovative Schools Competition (2017) for the redevelopment of the Istituto Notaro Jacopo di Lentini (SR); Trade Fair Center in the Municipality of Barcelona P. di G. (2012).
