Nigel Tyas

We are a small independent company committed to keeping traditional metalworking skills alive in the UK. Based in south Yorkshire, the business was created in 2000 by husband and wife team Nigel Tyas and Elizabeth Stocker. We design and make classic and contemporary lighting including chandeliers, pendants, lanterns, spotlights, wall lights and lamps. Our traditional and cottage-style curtain poles are made-to-measure with handmade finials, brackets and accessories. We offer a range of homeware including fire irons, pan rails, hooks, door and window furniture. Each product is handmade from start to finish by one of three skilled blacksmiths in our Yorkshire forge; and each light is wired in our electrical workshop. With a choice of metalwork finishes, sizes and other options, we are happy to liasie with customers to ensure we deliver the perfect product they need for their home or commercial premises.
