OOF! architecture is a St Kilda based design office devoted to fine grain projects ranging from single room renos to complete house make-overs, new houses and townhouses – with the occasional bar or shop thrown in.
We love the charms and challenges of inner city projects. We cope with - maybe even enjoy - demanding heritage contexts, weird sites and eccentric clients. We believe that quality is always better than quantity and craftsmanship trumps bling every day of the week.
Because too much architecture is not enough, we also teach design at the University of Melbourne; run DADo, the Robin Boyd Foundation's architecture + design film society and get stuck into local politics to advocate for a better built environment.
Fooi is also currently a director of ArchiTeam, a co-operative of over 500 architects.
