Penzel Valier is an architecture and engineering practice based in Zurich. The interdisciplinary practice was founded in 2008 by Christian Penzel and Martin Valier and specialises in sophisticated architectural designs and structures that give rise to innovative, iconic buildings and urban environments. The firm now comprises more than 170 specialists and is led by Leonore Daum, Rainer Herzinger, Christian Penzel, Andreas Schmid, Friedrich Tellbüscher and Martin Valier. Intensive, team-based collaboration across all disciplines enables the firm to develop and realise innovative solutions.
Penzel Valier works within a network of partners and planners, utilising state-of-the-art digital technologies and tools. The architectural concepts are developed from the task description and the local conditions in close exchange with the client, creating individual designs and always striving to find unique solutions to specific challenges.
