SOL & SOL is a Brooklyn-based architecture studio founded by a French architect and a Spanish architect. Their name reflects this collaboration: in French, sol means ground, and in Spanish, sol means sun. Their work explores the intersection of these two elements—the foundation that supports architecture and the light that defines it—encompassing everything from site planning to furniture design.
Bea and Pej met in Stockholm in 2014 and established SOL & SOL in New York in 2024. They are driven by curiosity and a commitment to simplicity, with precision guiding every decision. Architectural elements are refined and reduced to their essence. Materials are carefully chosen to amplify the design. The result is a series of spaces that reveal the unique character of each place with clarity and intent.
