Steyn Studio is a London based international architectural practice that was founded by South-African born Coetzee Steyn in 2011. Since its inception, their work has been widely published and have received numerous awards. The most recognised to date is the Bosjes Chapel (2017), which steered the studio’s conceptual direction, as well as the more recently completed Garden Café. These works, including projects such as the Oxford Conservatory, explores the emotive strengthening of man’s connection with nature, cultural history and context through the medium of architecture, and also an architecture that seeks to learn from nature and the past, yet looking towards the future.
