London based atelier& design studio Studio180° was founded in 2007 by accomplished Swiss artisans and designers, Ladina Hardmeier and Denise Portmann, best friends who met during their education in Zurich/Switzerland. Their field of work ranges from designing furniture and interiors, to re-designing existing furniture and creating one-off pieces, often made from antiques and vintage furniture. History, nature, materials and the urban environment build a strong influence on their design concepts and decisions; functionality is combined with beauty and knowledge with intuition. Contrasting elements are often found in their works, embracing both traditional handcraft skills and high tech materials, which ultimately define their eclectic style
