NEBA is a design and architecture studio based in Nepal and Bali.
Partners in business, and life, Sagar Chitrakar (architecture, design ) and Ilse Bos (interior, product, and fashion design) founders of STUDIO NEBA grew and nurtured the Studio from a mutual passion for architecture, design, and fashion. Honoring natural elements and local crafts.
STUDIO NEBA is a multi-disciplinary design studio that designs a mixture of residential and commercial architecture and lifestyle objects that inspire the senses and encourage mindful living. With an emphasis on natural materials, local crafts, and uncompromising quality, NEBA’s work connects the imaginative with the practical, resulting in a timeless warm, and honest aesthetic.
STUDIO NEBA is working both locally and internationally, the studio resides in the Kathmandu valley in the one of the seven unique arch vaulted brick buildings in The Taragaon Museum designed by Carl Pruscha in 1970s.
Practicing both architecture and design in, and the tropics of Bali and alongside the Himalayan foothills of Nepal inspires us to honor community.
STUDIO NEBA has a team of talented, devoted architects and designers, together we strive to create diversity, forms, and structures while honoring local heritage.
Care, responsibility, and quality are the three key concepts at STUDIO NEBA, along with the goal to create timeless beautiful, practical, and durable pieces that are both environmentally aware and sustainably made. To remind people that it is possible to pack orders in biodegradable materials along every single step of the production line, and it is possible to give back to the environment, and your customers, for every little bit that you take.
We strive in creating collections and designs who are both benefitting people and the environment.
