On our traditional wooden looms, we create unique pieces using the highest quality raw materials, such as wool, cashmere, linen, silk and yak. Manual looms enable us to create deliciously imperfect borders on our pieces. A wool blanket becomes a work of art full of nuances, reflecting the individuality of each weaver. Our products - scarves, shawls, blankets, cushion covers, bedspreads, and more – don’t require sophisticated finishing processes. Because we use quality materials, we simply determine the right combination of ecological soap, temperature and washing time, and the natural properties of the cloth are revealed. At TEIXIDORS, we work every day to find natural fibers that add special value to our products. Within our possibilities, we select the materials we use to weave our cloth, enabling us to enrich our products from the very essence of the fiber. Teixidors works with the highest quality fibers, such as ecological Merino Wool, Cashmere, Linen, Silk and Mongolian Yak. Since its foundation in 1983, TEIXIDORS has been a cooperative with social vocation, which has as a final objective the social integration, and economic independence of people with learning difficulties. This objective, always the priority is carried out through extraordinarily creative work on manual looms. This special project generates, as cannot be otherwise, unique products. Sustainability is a global concept that has to incorporate environmental and social parameters. The integration of people at risk of social exclusion and the commitment to responsible consumption form part of the sustainability of TEIXIDORS.
