The architecture practice THOMAS STADLER ARCHITEKTEN works in the planning and development of projects of various sizes, from exhibition design to interior design concepts to building planning, with a focus on museum and educational construction (day care center, school, university).

Most recently, the office realized the commercial building at Rathausstr. 1 in Vienna; First and second prizes were won in competitions for a new entrance situation in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte (2017), for the Greifswald City Archives (2015), a comprehensive school in Essen (2015) and the facade of the DIN building in Berlin (2018). The designs for the internationally acclaimed tenders for the new building of the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem and the expansion of the Art History Museum in Vienna received recognition.

In addition to his studies in Vienna and Berlin with the direct influences on site, Thomas Stadler particularly shaped the work in the Max Dudler office with his attitude to the rationality and physicality of architecture. The architecture of THOMAS STADLER ARCHITEKTEN is based on a strong concept and form, on good proportions of space, body and facade and on an appropriate and sustainable use of materials. The three-dimensional representation of architecture as a design conveying medium is an integral part of THOMAS STADLER ARCHITEKTEN and allows planners and builders to continuously assess the planning process.

Thomas Stadler has been a member of the Association of German Architects, BDA, since November 2019.
