Triode Design

The creation of Triode in 2004 is for Jacques Barret the accomplishment of a rich and varied career, in which creation, more specifically furniture, is an essential aspect. Originally a lightings editor, Triode is, since 2011, the « House of Finn Juhl in Paris » introducing and distributing the re-editions of this brilliant Danish Designer of the 50’s and considered as the father of « Danish Modern ». Besides, since 2009, Triode promotes American design by exhibiting throughout the year several works of established designers (Lindsey Adelman, John Pomp, David Weeks), manufacturers (Roll&Hill, Juniper) and emerging designers (Bec Brittain, Fort Standard). The high point is “American Design”, a window on the current American design scene occurring as a biennial. Last but not least, Triode is a producer of limited series of exclusive lamps taking part in the general atmosphere of the showroom, a daring selection outside the common inspirations in contemporary design.
