I think differently about new builds. That’s because I built my own custom build house back in 2009 and I had the opportunity to work with the architects on the design and specification of what I wanted. The result is a fantastic home for me and my family that is environmentally friendly, robust and brilliantly designed. What’s more, it cost the same as the neighbouring Victorian property with its drafty windows and a layout designed for living in the 19th century.
I believe that if more of us had a say in the creation of our own homes, we’d end up with better ones up and down the country. Better design, better quality, better for the environment and better value.
This is what my multi-talented and diverse team and I are on a mission to do with custom build.
