Vandenborre Architecten is a Kortrijk, Belgium based architectural practice founded by Steven Vandenborre.
Steven Vandenborre was born in 1973 and graduated in 1997 from the architecture faculty of Luca School of Art in Ghent and worked successively for the studios of Glenn Sestig and Eddy Francois where he further developed his love for modern, monolithic but warm architecture, often a glamorous touch.
Since its founding in 2003, studio Vandenborre Architecten has built a reputation for its versatile designs in the private, commercial and public sector. The studio’s work is characterized by a thorough attention to detail, materialization and context. His work has ever since gained international recognition through publications in books, magazines and architectural blogs.
Steven Vandenborre’s field of activity includes projects in home country Belgium, Switzerland and Long Island, USA.
