The studio OSA Ochs Schmidhuber Architekten in Munich, founded 20 years ago, is located in the heart of the city in the Gärtnerplatz district. Over 40 dedicated colleagues come together every day. They hail from 16 countries and are the basis for the international, creative and mostly discursive work, which finds its expression in courageous architectural projects. OSA has given the Munich cityscape the respective building blocks, new things are underfoot, there are even further plans for the future. OSA´s favourite topics? Great working environments for great employees, cities that are planned so that people feel urban quality of life. The Studio has had favourite projects such as the master plan for the new city quarter Freiham, the memorable facades for the buildings around the central cattle market, the adventurous Jochen-Schweizer-Arena in Taufkirchen, the Atlas high-rise in the Werksviertel or the '25hours Hotel - The Royal Bavarian' right next to Munich´s main railway station, for which OSA received the German Design Award 2019 and the Fassadenpreis der Stadt München 2019. Future plans include as yet incomplete projects: The new city quarter, the 'Macherei' in Berg am Laim is growing, skyscrapers in Munich are in the planning, even more hotels.
