For the Fall 2010 Collection presented by Arise Magazine, showcasing 3 designers from South Africa, Nigeria and Tanzania, we were commissioned to create an epic theatrical environment enhanced by vast digital projected media content.

Our expansive production design for Arise was rooted in Cubist art influences, and Ben Okri's novel, The Famished Road. An epic set wall of overlapping cubist panels anchored the space, and the painted runway evoked a collaged, serpentine road of richly textured surfaces that shimmered with opalescent crystals. Bold visual projections of abstracted imagery were cast on the set wall to visually underscore the three collections of the night, and transform the environment with movement, color, texture and light.
