The new Il Passo store in Pitesti is the Romanian top retailer’s latest opening and follows the lines of the newly launched interior design concept. 

The calm earthy tones of the walls, along with the natural color of the limestone flooring set the general mood of the store. The display shelves have been treated differently according to the brand’s needs. Shelves have been treated with ALPI wood veneer and thin limestone slabs in the first area of the store, whereas clay finish has been used for the shelves in the second part of the store.

V-shaped mirrors are used to enhance the sense of space and are a playful component throughout. The playfulness is also given by the ludic composition of display furniture.

The materials used to finish these volumes – wood veneer and clay – compliment the overall aesthetic of the interior. Green and chocolate-like fabrics have been used for the seating area as a way to distort the singular chromatic palette, becoming design objects that are attractive to customers like magnets.

The curved wall in the back gives a touch of suppleness to the space, with its thin, elegant shelves, therefore it becomes a perfect focal point for the end user.
