Private Lounge D

Before digitization, many records and commitments were made on paper. This small but weighty piece of paper was more than just a means of transaction, it was a medium of trust and relationship between people. The D Private Lounge draws on the meaning of paper as a motif to visually convey the depth of trust and relationship with customers over time.

A sheet of paper is thin and flexible, yet has the depth to hold many stories within it. The wall, which extends from the entrance to the depths of the interior, flows through the space in an organic flow, like an unfolded sheet of paper. More than just a boundary, the gently curving wall becomes an axis of movement that draws the visitor's eye and encourages natural movement. The walls are lined with openings that lead to other spaces, creating the experience of stepping inside the paper. The walls, which mimic the texture and flexibility of paper, are designed to smoothly connect the spaces, creating a sense of openness while maintaining a private atmosphere.

Following this flow, after passing through the entrance, each room leads to a study with a different atmosphere. Like the many stories that have been written on paper, each space has its own mood and personality, and its form is designed to reflect the texture and properties of paper.

The various qualities of paper - its clean lines, fluid curves, layered structure, delicate texture, and expansiveness of form - are interpreted in different ways in each space. These elements add a sense of understated tension, smooth flow, calm stability, and sensory vibrancy to each room, seamlessly weaving the material narrative of paper throughout the lounge. Through the metaphor of paper, the depth of the brand's trust and relationships was intended to be revealed in a natural way.
