Project in Riga

This project represents a small urban apartment for a young family. The clients wanted to create a comfortable space where each family member could find their own place, and where they could also host regular gatherings with family and friends in a cozy atmosphere.
One of their key preferences was to create a monochromatic interior, immune to fleeting trends, which would gradually fill with favorite items, travel souvenirs, and other trinkets that tell the story of their family.
In the layout, we aimed to maximize storage space so that each family member would have their own wardrobe. The living room and bedrooms are equipped with spacious built-in closets and shelves, ensuring order and convenience.

We expanded the kitchen, separating it from the living room with a bar counter. The clients love cooking and socializing, so the kitchen area became the heart of the apartment.
In terms of lighting, we focused on utilitarian light sources such as recessed lights and spotlights, aligning with the clients’ desire for a clean, minimalist, and graphic interior.
The bright chairs are our lucky find from flea markets in Italy. These vintage 70s pieces were brought in and refurbished, with a vibrant lime color chosen. These chairs became the most striking and memorable element of the interior, adding uniqueness and style to the setting.

The choice of local artists was no accident—the clients believe in supporting the local art market, which personalizes the interior.
It was important for us to create a sense of unified space, striving to make it as graphic and clear-cut as the clients wanted. We used clean lines and contrasting colors to emphasize the modern character of the interior, while maintaining its coziness and functionality
