Collin is also a licensed American architect. He has fifteen years of experience working with design firms around the globe and a portfolio of projects completed in the USA, Europe and Asia. Collin worked for ten years with the Paris office of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, where he was an Associate and led the office's American institutional and residential projects.
Collin holds an engineering degree from Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering, and a masters in architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. He has authored and edited multiple books on architecture and urban design, and teaches architectural history at Columbia University in Paris.
