In Timisoara in Romania, Macchine has been producing professional espresso machines per Caffe Espresso S.r.l., or MCE S.r.l., since 2002. The new production facility, designed by the German architect Heim Balp Architekten, combines a practical factory and administrative space with a striking display window for the products.

Metadecor has realized and assembled aluminum MD Lamel for the façade. The 281 slats are in the carmine red house style of MCE S.r.l. coated.

In close cooperation with the supplier of the glass curtain wall, we have developed a special fixing system, with which the fixing brackets of the MD Lamellen are directly attached to the glass curtain wall profiles. Provisions have been included for this in the glass curtain wall. All this was coordinated by Metadecor during the engineering phase. Thanks to this method of mounting, assembly has also been realized extremely quickly and precisely.
