On the slopes of Montjuic in Barcelona, the loVt3 project by Nábito Architects sees the transformation of an old parking space into an intimate loft concept that offers a retreat from ordinary life.

Throughout the refurbishment, the architects specified raw and natural materials with an emphasis on recycled materials. These material choices include jute bags for the curtains, which lend a sense of softness, and cardboard boxes used for drawers.

The finishes of the walls, floor, roof, and sanitary elements and fittings like taps and faucets are all artisanal in their execution.

Project designer BeBo Ferlito says, “I really tried to take advantage as much as possible of everything that was found there, using creativity, remembering the origins of the space and layering all with a touch of different cozy textures giving the magical atmosphere I was looking for this project…”
