Shearwater

One Shearwater Drive, sits comfortably into it’s coastal lookout in Mt Martha on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. An elemental palette of materials and finishes that will weather well provides a stylish and hardy skin to the luxury within. On approach, the house hunkers down into its surrounds, ably aided by Vibe’s landscaping of the site. Visitors are greeted by a totemic rectangular form clad in black Alucobond. It has function as a garage, but could just as easily be an abstract sculpture, a geometric outcrop on the coastal terrain. advice house

Advice House is the first completed building in the Lysholt Park, a new business-park north of Vejle, and is with its proximity to the motorway designated to act as landmark and eye-catcher for the entire development. C. F. Møller Architects have developed two office-projects, Advice House and Lysholt Tower, for the client Lysholt Erhverv A/S. Both projects employ a simple, yet visually strong cladding with an unusual, colour-changing appearance. The Advice House interior is an open and flexible office layout, where various tenants share the same large space, which offers dramatic perspectives and angles. Opera Copenhagen

The Opera is situated in Copenhagen’s inner harbour and completes the historical axis running from the Marble Church through Amalienborg and into the Opera - right at the stage front where the performing artists and their audience meet. The Opera has two auditoria: the Large Auditorium – organized as a classical horseshoe shape with a 1,800 seating capacity – and Takkelloftet – the Royal Danish Theatre’s black box stage for experimental theatre seating 200. The wooden shell that embraces the Large Auditorium – visible all the way from the harbour space through the glass façade – lies like a smooth and golden conch in the foyer with its stairs and light footbridges dynamically connected to the balconies that run alongside the façade of the...
