Dramatic shapes, colours, and materials headline at Saigon’s Anh Coffee Roastery

Situated in the centre of Saigon, Anh Coffee Roastery features a large façade width and a deep setback within an existing architectural block. During the design process, Red5studio were inspired by the visuals of basalt red land growing coffee on a cloudy day and the feeling of being immersed in a dramatic landscape.  Đỗ Sỹ The deeply recessed nature of the original building made it possible to incorporate considerable greenery. Winter Park Library and Events Center

Sited on the Northwest corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, this new civic and cultural hub embodies the values of the park’s namesake and is envisioned as a space for community empowerment and edification. As part of an extensive revitalization of the park, the new hub is in harmony with the unique tropical ecology of the site and is conceived as a micro-village of three pavilions, each of different scale and function but which share a common formal language. The village is comprised of a new two-story library, an event center with rooftop terrace, as well as a new welcome portico that ushers users from the street and unifies the three structures. Chad Baumer Guided by biophilic design principles, all three pavilions--compo... En savoir plus

Jack Daniel’s Barrel House 1-14

Most who have visited a distillery know that entering an active barrel house is a profound olfactory experience. Over a period of five or more years, as a barrel of whiskey matures, a portion of its contents is lost to evaporation. This inevitable process, multiplied by thousands of barrels, creates the "angel's share", a scent that blankets the building in a delightfully unmistakable aroma. The angel’s share is one of the first characteristics that welcomes visitors to Barrel House 1-14 at the Jack Daniel Distillery. In seeking ways to enhance the visitor experience for an ever increasing number of guests, the Jack Daniel’s team launched an improvement campaign encompassing several of the publicly accessible properties on the distiller... Jack Daniel’s White Rabbit Bottle Shop

Jack Daniel made his whiskey and his name at his eponymous distillery – and made his friends at his White Rabbit Saloon on Lynchburg’s town square. Tennessee Prohibition forced the saloon to close, but more than a century later the White Rabbit Bottle Shop is open for a new generation of Jack’s friends to gather and find a signature sippin’ whiskey. Part of an ongoing effort to enhance visitor experience at the Jack Daniel’s Homeplace, Clickspring designed the new bottle shop, bottle customization area, and visitor gallery to communicate the tradition and materials of whiskey craftsmanship. As such, the project combines charred wood accent walls, maple ricking details, a planed oak log cash-wrap, and a bottle wall forming a portrait of J... En savoir plus
