RamenYa 1000Wat Emporium Melbourne

RamenYa is a chain of Japanese ramen noodle shops in Melbourne and the chain unveiled its flagship restaurant in Emporium Melbourne. A unique aspect of this project was the inclusion of a second restaurant, 1000wat, in a shared context where both brands operate under one roof. T by Luxbite

The design of the new addition to the Luxbite family, patisserie "T by Luxbite", aims to show that the best things can come in small packages, just like their pastries within. The overall design focuses on the presentation and quality of the shop’s unique products; complementing them without overshadowing them. The shop's name is derived from their sale pastry of choice, tarts. As a heritage listed building, it was imperative to rescue the front of house which was in a severe state of disrepair. The homeowner and his family of 4 presented us a brief that started off with the basic functional premise of maintaining a 3-bedroom house at the very minimum, and making use of the neighbour's double-height boundary wall to introduce a second storey vo... Little Man Cafe

The Little Man Cafe is located along the main community strip in the quaint part of Seddon. The neighbourhood in this area has undergone a shift in pace over the last few years of a gentrifi ed nature which sees more cafes and small businesses sprouting up accompanying the infl ux of younger families moving into the area. The cafe occupies a corner lot once belonged to the old Post Off ice which has since moved a couple of spots up the street. The insides of the building was left severely dilapidated, however given its prime corner shop location and prominent street frontage, the new owners were keen to revitalise this empty shell of a building and in doing so, contribute to the growth of Victoria Street. Despite the long and narrow... En savoir plus
